
Habitat for Humanity Charlotte and Goodwill Industries of Southern Piedmont call it “a house reconsidered” or ReHouse for short. The two nonprofits, along with the help of Charlotte Comfort Systems, have transformed an abandoned house into an affordable home through a partnership that transformed the property into a training laboratory for construction trainees using green-building techniques.
